CONFLICT MINERALS POLICY

Manufacturas Pabose S.A.U., as part of its commitment to sustainable development and the environment, a6> commitment to development sustainable and the Objectives of Development Sustainable (SDGs), establishes this policy on conflict minerals, applicable to all its organisation, personnel and supply chain of minerals. Those involved shall act in accordance with the principles defined here.

The company adheres to the Responsible Minerals Regulations regarding so-called “conflict minerals” – cassiterite, coltan, wolframite and their derivatives (tin, tantalum, niobium, tungsten and gold, known as 3TG) – from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and high-risk countries included in the CAHRA list (Central African Republic, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia and Angola).

To this end, we undertake the following commitments:

  • Avoid any contribution direct or indirect to the exploitation illegal of minerals, promoting peace and development in areas affected by conflict.
  • Rejecting practices that violate human rights such as, such as child labour, sexual violence or forced displacement of communities.
  • Act in accordance with the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, under the “Protect, Respect and Remedy” approach.
  • Conduct annual assessments of suppliers, verifying their compliance with criteria for responsible procurement and ethical, social and environmental practices and and.
  • Request CFSI-CMRT declarations from suppliers annually, ensuring that the products supplied do not intentionally contain conflict minerals.
  • Require suppliers to submit their policies a5> their policies on conflict minerals in conflict.
  • Do not establish commercial relations with entities that engage in practices of bribery or corruption. a8> bribery or corruption.

The Management of Manufacturas Pabose S.A.U. will periodically review this policy, with the aim of continuously improving our practices in this area. Its compliance is the responsibility shared by the entire organisation. The active participation of all a4> all employees in identifying opportunities for improvement.
